about

In chapter 4, Kind Child and Jack wonder further out into the depths of Ground Zero, attempting to reach epiphany in order to return home. Unaware of the trials that await them, Kind Child begins reflecting on her former partner who was taken from her, by a man the village expected her to marry out of his jealousy. Her fear that he would kill her too is what she believes drove her to abuse herself with substances and alienation.

LYRICS -

The sin of omission is clear,
You live and you die by your fear
And all you seem to know
Is how to drown in your pessimism
Well let him in and let him win I thought I fucking buried him?
You’re looking very feminine
A wedding ring is melted in

But you took it too far again my friend

Well now i’m moving on past the blurred lines that you’ve left
Well i’m moving on, I hate every part of you that’s part of me

The sin of omission is clear,
You live and you die by your fear
And all you seem to know
Is how to drown in your pessimism
Well let him in and let him win I thought that I had buried him?
You’re looking very feminine
A wedding ring is melted in

Now i’m moving on, past the blurred lines
I’m gone

Well now i’m moving on past the blurred lines
Well i’m gone
Well I hate you

Maybe someday i’ll be there when you’re killing me
Maybe someday, i’ll be there
