From the ocean to the sand
With thumbs on our hands
The fire in the sky makes us all the way alive
Through the desert with nature alone
In the forests sleeping beside the stone
The trees give us life, and we’re all the way alive
But tell me what’s the difference
Between an earthquake and an atom bomb
To those caught in the debris
They’re very much the same
Hear me brother, upon our mother
We’ve cast shame
We are here
Breathe us in
The trees give us life,
We’re all the way alive
The air, the trees, the water, the animals
All the way alive
(All the way alive, all the way)
